Property taxes pay for things I can pay for myself or opt out of altogether.

Water – pay directly proportional to your use in a capitalist system. Plus a public-private system where the “public” represents your community rather than some bureucrats.

Fire services – you can get safety systems that do a better job, and in the worst case private fire departments run by your local community or hired by.

Local roads – build them yourself.

Police – I rather just defend my own property. I could probably do a better job with the right gear body armour, rifles, and pistols.

I rather have blackwater running my local neighborhood safety than the idiots who make up the police.

What else do property taxes pay for? At the end of the day your property is a point of safety that is immeasurable. Going hungry and have some land? Grow your own food. No money for water? Rainwater is free.

Also a part of basic jurisprudence of property rights is actual property rights although property is a broad based philosophy of individual autonomy.

PS. some people asked if people here aren’t fully ancaps, and were libertarian which is funny cause most of the libertarians on the Libertarian subreddit were government shills and are now spamming this sub but I digress.
