Trump is the best thing for Libertarians since Ron Paul

Many of his close supporters are actually leaning towards freedom and less state. In my books this is a win.

I think the LP IS in the best possible spot it could be right now. Without Libertarian Voters this race could have been lost and gone to the Democrats. The Libertarians are a big enough voting block to count. Either Republicans stand for freedom or the Libertarians will vote for their own candidate again. It is basically blackmailing.

This is also why i think Chase Oliver was picked on purpose. He is unpopular, but that was good. Many votes went to the Republicans. But if the Republicans do not play ball, in the next election a good own candidate will appear and the Reps will lose. A few house seats more could have been won for the Republicans if their candidate played ball with the Libertarians.

Yes yes it is statism, but i think the turn in a different direction really counts.
