Validation for Ron Paul
It is still wayyy too early to know where the country goes from here, but if yesterday was any indication, America took a hard stand against the fascist bureaucracy. Juxtapose that with 2008, when few took Ron Paul seriously. Ron warned people about the bureaucracy for decades and it must’ve been exhausting when such a large portion of the country continued to feed into the binary political machine. I think a clear paradigm shift towards freedom and ideas and the notion that the government works for us has been set in motion. There is too much for Trump to undo in 4 years and he’s obviously not pro-freedom to the extent he needs to be. But it is certainly possible that Libertarian ideology will play a heavy influence on his administration, progress that libertarians should be thrilled about. I have to think there is some sense of validation for Ron Paul. It’s not perfect, but people are starting to wake up. I hope he’s properly remembered in history books for his impact on American history.
