Talking with a friend over thanksgiving that seemed to have no idea that police brutality or the thin blue line exists.

Essentially the person thought that if bad cops were bad cops they would be fired and never hired again. I explained to this person that they essentially get paid vacations and at worst are fired from one unit and shifted to another somewhere else much like how the Catholic church did priests that got in trouble before their scandal was revealed. They literally did not believe me. The bootlicking and brainwashing is insane.
