A Way Home from Chronic Illness – thinking outside the box

In this episode, Kathy Fogarty, a Seattle naturopath interviews two Yuan Gong/Ren Xue teachers, Bill McMillan, a retired psychotherapist and Diana Lion, who has taught various forms of social and individual healing since 1975. Both guests have spent many years assisting people with chronic illnesses and life-threatening conditions, including cancer. Bill speaks about his current classes with cancer survivors. Diana shares how living with chronic illness can be traumatic, chaotic and disruptive to one’s life and that to begin the healing process, it is important to cultivate tools that bring the body/mind back into a calm, centered place. Using Yuan Gong style Qigong and Ren Xue practices, individuals with chronic illness can learn to develop that sense of calm.
