Banned from r/AskLE

Y’all…I literally got permabanned from askLE for asking a question in regards to people filming cops. This post wasn’t even anti police nor would I call myself remotely close to anti police, I explicitly stated I’m NEUTRAL and am neither pro nor anti cop. I literally said I would film cops if I’m pulled over and pointed out how corruption is a thing in the rural police departments in my state…

I just wanna know how tf is this anti cop? And if this has happened to anyone here, I notice those people there will downvote and ban you if you even so much as question a cops actions, do they seriously expect us to respect them blindly without a second thought? I respect good police officers, hell I had one cut me a break by bumping down a speeding ticket, I respect him, but I don’t respect every cop just cause they throw on a uniform. That mindset of mine literally applies to everybody, I don’t respect someone if they do bad shit to people, period! It doesn’t matter if they’re a cop, doctor, soldier, cook, whatever…

On a side note, those guys on that subreddit said they assume anyone that films them for their own safety is mentally ill or is some sad neckbeard, when in reality, I’m literally some guy of brown skin venturing off into a white part of my state and wanting to protect myself if I get stopped accidentally going like 4 over, cause that’s literally what some small town deputies in rural GA do.

Sorry for the rant here, I just wanna hear y’all’s thoughts or if it’s just me tripping.
