Democracy kind of sucks, and idk what would be better.

So the mayoral election in New York, though I’m not a New Yorker, has made me realize something. Democracy kind of sucks. It seems like it’s the system where your rights don’t matter, simply because you’re outnumbered. But I’m confused on what would be better. I’m pro capitalism, I also believe there has to be a small state to enforce law, but I’m confused on what could we do that’s better than democracy.
