Hands off – and other opposite-words used by socialists

Seeing the news from the “Hands off” demonstrations, I’m struck by the ever so consistent pattern of the left to use language in a way which is always opposite of what you’d see in a dictionary.

Staring with “hands off” – what they actually want, is the government hand into everything. (Or maybe a government boot). Now, I haven’t seen a poster with “Hands off our hard earned money”. Odd.

Then there’s “Save our democracy” – meaning elections are only valid if it goes according to my preference.

Oh, and will you look at that, there’s a poster with Trump, Vance and Elon as nazis. That’s the normal woke way of showing how tolerant they are, I think. Or maybe it’s just self-projection.
