In February 2025, Santa Rosa County deputies stopped a vehicle speeding through Tiger Point — just east of Pensacola. The driver turned out to be a Lieutenant Colonel from Hurlburt Field.

According to the sheriff’s office report, she refused to roll her window down or step out of the car, asking several times for a supervisor. Deputies eventually broke the window and placed her under arrest.

Bodycam footage shows the entire encounter — the roadside arrest, paramedics treating minor cuts from the broken glass, and the later sobriety tests at the station. Her breath test came back 0.000 BAC. She initially refused a urine test but agreed after being told that refusing would mean a 12-month license suspension under Florida law.
