Why are leftists so pissed off by Milei’s reforms?

And I’m not talking about Argentine leftists, I’m talking about Yuros and Yanks who are getting mad at, for instance, Milei reforming the tax agency. These people get mad at every little thing he does, claiming it’ll lead to Argentina’s collapse or what not.

While I can understand them doing this because “hurr durr crazy hair man bad because right-wing” or whatever, I find there to be some massive cognitive dissonance on what they talk about; so many people I’ve seen have wet dreams with the US becoming like Sweden and adopting the nordic model, and Milei’s reforms are very similar to the reforms Sweden and Finland passed in the ’90s: privatization, tax reduction and simplification, opening of markets, reduction of spending, and else. Progressives also get mad at Milei even though the dude has literally stated that, according to his views, you should be able to have sex with an elephant (hyperbolic), or transition and do whatever you want with your body (as long as it’s not with tax money), and he is yet to pass any sort of policy that harms any kind of minority. even socialists are mad at the guy even if literally most of his policies ultimately aim to help the proletariat and harm big corporations which have gotten lots of growth from tax exemptions, bailouts, unresolved contract breaches and other shitty practices.

I don’t get it, really. It’s just surreal to me that people will go “I wish we could be like Sweden”, then criticize every single policy that Sweden applied to become the kind of nation it is today, apparently just because this guy is trying to apply them.
