Hot take, insurance companies are anti free market

Insurance companies business model is designed to thrive in more government regulated environments. If you were to have an unregulated free market, insurance companies would without a doubt make way less than they make now, and I’m not just mad because they charge me so much as a new driver (that is totally the reason) I don’t think insurance should be mandatory, especially for cars
